What should I do if my employer changes and I have forgotten my password for the Smartum online service?

If you used to receive electronic Smartum benefits from another employer and your user id is your old employer’s email address, and you have forgotten your password, call our customer service at +358 600 149 88. We will make your new email address your user id.

If you have forgotten your password, you will not receive the password as it will be sent to your old employer’s email address. If you have an existing user id, it is impossible to create a new one, as the user id is based on your social security code. This means that there can only be one user id for each social security code. Call our customer service and we will enter your new employer’s email address into our system.


SmartumPlus: What should I do if my employer changes and I have forgotten my password for the Smartum online service?

If your company has SmartumPlus benefits instead of traditional Smartum benefits (saldo/voucher), you can manage your account and use your benefits only with SmartumPay application. Please log in by using your online banking IDs or mobile ID. SmartumPlus customers do not have the similar kind of online service as the traditional Smartum benefit customers have. This is why SmartumPlus customers can't log in with additional username and password, or with email address/password combination. Your benefits will remain for your use as long as your information are kept in the beneficiary list in SmartumPlus portal. This portal is managed by the person, who has rights to order benefits in your company.

If you are unsure what kind of benefits your company has, you can check this from your SmartumPay application by clicking "Show saldos". You can always ask advice from your employer as well.
